Marvel Hero Rush: Collector's Guide and Collection Tracker

Marvel Hero Rush is a two player trading card game from Jason Entertainment, made under licence from Marvel. You play a guardian of your own timeline, build a deck of Marvel heroes and villains, and battle across the multiverse: calling characters to the field, attacking into your opponent's openings, and collecting Rush Points until you win. The line launched in China in June 2026 and reached English-speaking collectors in August 2026 with The Avengers booster, four Infinity Stone starter decks and the Era of Spiders expansion close behind. HoloHoard carries the complete English card list.

How a Marvel Hero Rush card is built

There are two kinds of card. Characters are the heroes and villains you call to the field, and every one of them carries the same set of printed values: a Level from 1 to 6 in the top corner, a colour gem beneath it, a Feature line naming the groups the character belongs to, and a power value with an attack range beside it. Impact cards, printed as RUSH POINT, are the points you score; they sit in their own nine card deck and carry none of those values. Card text is written in the game's own shorthand, which the cards print in brackets: TRIG for an effect that fires on its own, ACTI for one you choose to activate, COUNTER for one played in response, and the zone it belongs to, FIELD, HAND, BASE, BATTLE, RETREAT or VOID, named in the same breath. UNIQUE means only one copy of that name can be on your field at a time. Two printed numbers do most of the work in a game: Level decides what it costs to call a character, since the low levels come out freely and the high ones ask you to retreat characters whose levels add up to the newcomer's, and attack range decides which of your opponent's battle zones the character can reach. Open The Avengers card list.

What is printed on a character card, and what it does
Printed valueWhat it means
Level1 to 6. Low levels are called freely; higher levels are paid for by retreating characters whose levels add up to it
ColourRed, Yellow, Blue or Green, shown as a gem under the level
FeatureThe character's groups, written as a slash separated line, such as Human/Avengers or Human/Web
PowerCompared when two characters fight; the higher power wins the exchange
Attack rangeR-1, R-2 or R-3: how deep into your opponent's battle zones the character can strike
RarityThe letter code printed in the corner: C, R, SR, GR, UR, MR, SEC and the special set codes PR, ER, TR and HR

A higher rarity is a different illustration

This is the thing to know before you start ticking numbers off. In most trading card games a parallel is the same picture again with a foil finish. In Marvel Hero Rush a character's higher rarity is a new piece of art. The Avengers booster prints its Iron Man, BP01-001, as a UR, as an MR and as a SEC, and the three are three different illustrations that happen to share a number and a name. The same is true of every MR and SEC character in the line, and of the HR cards in Era of Spiders. So a card number is not a card: one number can stand for two, three or even five distinct pieces of art, and the publisher's own card list shows each of them as its own entry. HoloHoard does the same.

Each print is catalogued as its own card, with the rarity in its title, so an Iron Man you own as a UR and the same number you own as a SEC show as two things rather than one box ticked twice. The RUSH POINT cards are the one place the pattern bends: their MR keeps the same panel inside a gold frame and their SEC adds a printed signature, and they are still listed as their own cards because that is how the publisher numbers them. Within a set the printed rarities fall into two groups: the five that fill the checklist, and the two that reinterpret cards already in it. See every print in The Avengers.

The HR prints: gold to 99, silver to 616

Era of Spiders added a rarity the first wave did not have. Three of its Spider-Verse characters exist as HR cards, and each HR comes in two editions that share one illustration: a gold framed print serial numbered to 99 and a silver framed print serial numbered to 616, with the serial stamped at the top of the card. These are the first serial numbered cards in the line, and they are the one place where HoloHoard uses a variant rather than a separate card, because the two editions are the same art in two treatments. Each HR card page shows both editions, and when you log a copy you can record its exact serial number. Open the Era of Spiders card list.

RUSH POINT cards: beautiful scenes, including panoramas

The RUSH POINT cards are easy to treat as filler, since they are the points rather than the players, and they are where the line puts its best art. They can feature full scenes rather than a character portrait, and they have no level, colour or power. Some of them go further and join up. The last nine of each run are a single piece of art, one battle scene cut into a three by three grid with each card one square of it. Lay BP01-131 to BP01-139 out in three rows of three and The Avengers assemble into one picture. Era of Spiders does the same with SP01-092 to SP01-100, a Spider-Man fight with Mysterio, Electro, Doctor Octopus, Mary Jane and Kraven in one frame. The Avengers then signs off with the four Infinity Stones as RUSH POINT cards, Reality, Mind, Space and Time, matching the four starter decks. Completing a panorama is a real goal in itself, and the set page lists the cards in number order so the scene builds row by row as you fill it in. The nine below are The Avengers panorama in that order, one example of what this corner of the set holds. See the Era of Spiders RUSH POINT run.

Four starter decks, four Infinity Stones, four colours

The first wave shipped four starter decks named for Infinity Stones, and each one is a single colour. Reality is the Red deck, Mind is Yellow, Space is Blue and Time is Green, and every character in a deck carries that one colour, which is a great way to get started and learn how each colour plays. A deck's characters run the full range of levels, so a starter is also a sampler of how calling works, from the free low levels up to the expensive sixes. The booster, The Avengers, mixes all four colours, and Era of Spiders does the same, so once you move past the starters the colour of a card is a choice you make when you build.

Promos, event cards and the Treasure Booster

Marvel Hero Rush hands out cards for showing up. Launch events, shop tournaments, regionals and promotions each get their own cards, and the line already has prints for champions, for the top four and for everyone who played, a few months into its life. Three small products hold them so far, each catalogued as its own set so a card won at a table has somewhere to live. The two Promotion Packs carry PR cards with their own numbering. The Event Pack carries ER cards, and one of them, the Spider-Man at EB01-014, was printed twice with the same art and a different stamp: a Top 4 edition and a Champion edition from the 2026 regionals, which HoloHoard keeps as two variants of one card. The Treasure Booster holds a single Doctor Doom, TB01-001, printed in three versions of one illustration, catalogued the same way. With new events announced across Asia and potentially worldwide soon, expect this corner of the catalogue to grow pretty fast. If you pull or win one of these, its set page is where it goes. Open the Event Pack card list.

Keeping track of it all

Every card in the game is already on HoloHoard: find it, tap it, say how many you have. Your collection is the honest picture of what you own, counted per card, so three copies of a Captain America are three and not a tick. Lists are for everything you are thinking about rather than holding: a want list for the cards you are still after, a trade list for your spares, a sale list for the cards you want to part with. And because this is a game you play, you can build decks too: fill one straight from the catalogue with the exact prints you play, duplicate it to try a different build without touching the original, and share the decklist with a read-only link, notes and all, with the people you play against. Every booster and deck has a checklist you can print and fill in by hand if that is more your style.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free Marvel Hero Rush collection tracker?

Yes. HoloHoard tracks Marvel Hero Rush collections for free, with the full English catalogue already built in, so you mark the cards you own rather than entering them by hand. A free account covers collection tracking, wishlists and set completion; a Premium tier adds deeper value analytics and higher limits.

Where can I find the Marvel Hero Rush card list?

Every set has its own page on HoloHoard with the full card list and a printable checklist beside it: The Avengers booster, the four Infinity Stone starter decks, Era of Spiders, the Event Pack, both Promotion Packs and the Treasure Booster. The list follows the publisher's own English card list, and each rarity print of a number is listed on its own, so the page matches what you can actually own.

Are the MR and SEC cards separate from the card they share a number with?

Yes. An MR or SEC is a new illustration of a card already in the set, not the same picture in foil, so HoloHoard catalogues it as its own card with the rarity in its title. Owning the UR and the SEC of one number shows as two cards, each with its own value. The one exception is a print that shares its illustration exactly, such as the gold and silver editions of an HR card, which are two variants of one card.

What do the rarity letters on Marvel Hero Rush cards mean?

The publisher prints a letter code on every card: C, R, SR, GR and UR fill a set, MR and SEC are reinterpretations of cards already in it, and HR is the serial numbered print introduced in Era of Spiders. PR, ER and TR mark the Promotion Packs, the Event Pack and the Treasure Booster, which carry their own numbering. HoloHoard stores the code exactly as printed on each card.

Is there an English edition of Marvel Hero Rush?

Yes. The game launched in China in June 2026 and the publisher released an English edition of the first boosters and starter decks in August 2026, alongside an Indonesian edition. The English card list on the publisher's site is what HoloHoard catalogues, so every card here is the English print.

Can I track my Marvel Hero Rush collection on my phone?

Yes. The HoloHoard app is a free download on Google Play for Android. On a line this new that is where the collection starts: open a pack at a shop event, mark the Marvel Hero Rush cards you pulled while they are still in your hand, and the set page shows what is left to find before you get home. Same account as the web, so nothing is typed twice. Store links are on the HoloHoard app page.
