Series 6 is the sixth main Currency release and the first built around a partnership with an official government body: the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, marking the America250 anniversary. Cardsmiths has confirmed more than 120 card designs, the returning artist roster, and the full list of subsets, though the checklist itself is not out yet. This guide covers what is confirmed so far and gets updated as the rest lands, so it is worth bookmarking if you are planning a Series 6 chase.
Currency has always been about money and the forces around it, and Series 6 narrows that to the American story. The set is a collaboration with the United States Semiquincentennial Commission for the country's 250th anniversary, which makes it the first time the line has worked with an official government body. For a series that has covered ancient coinage, Austrian economics and meme currencies, an institutional partnership is a real change of register, and it shapes what the cards are about.
Cardsmiths has confirmed more than 120 total card designs. That keeps the expanded scale Series 5 introduced, rather than returning to the smaller runs of the early sets. The base and short-print split has not been published yet, so the table below shows the confirmed totals for each series and leaves the Series 6 breakdown open.

Mr Brainwash, Jon McTavish, Rachid Lotf and Thomas Zahler all return. Mr Brainwash made his Currency debut on Series 5, so a second consecutive appearance suggests a more settled creative role rather than a one-off. McTavish and Zahler have been part of the line across several earlier sets.
Cardsmiths has published the contents even though the checklist has not landed. Most of these are returning formats, with the box exclusives worth knowing before you decide which configuration to buy: Matrix Holofoil is a Mega Box exclusive, and based on how previous releases have worked, Crystal Sparkle is expected to be the Collector Box exclusive.

Cryptocurrency Redemption Cards return, randomly inserted and redeemable for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin, with multiple 1 BTC hits and 1 ETH pulls across the print run. Separately, and for the first time in Currency history, select Mega Boxes carry limited-edition collector packaging individually serial numbered out of 1,776, a nod to American independence. Serialised cards are nothing new for the line, but serialised boxes are, and they are randomly packed, so there is no way to target one at purchase.
The official listing gives a pre-order availability date of October 9, 2026, and Cardsmiths notes that availability dates can move with manufacturing and carrier delays.
