Guide
Cyberpunk TCG has a short, readable rarity structure, and unusually for a new game you can already see what each step is actually worth. Five rarities cover the cards themselves, the Iconic cards are alternate artwork layered on top of them, and Nova Rare sits outside both as the promo rarity. This guide covers all three parts, how foil fits in, and what each tier is currently worth. The value table is generated from current data and refreshed daily, so it describes the market as it stands rather than as it stood when this was written.
448 cards across 12 sets, catalogued and ready to track.

The cards themselves run Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Secret. That is the whole ladder, and Secret is the top of it: the scarcest card you can open as its own design. Above that sit the Iconic cards, catalogued as Iconic Other, Iconic Legend and Iconic Secret, and these are a different thing rather than a sixth step. They are alternate artwork for cards already on the checklist, which is why they can be scarcer and more valuable than a Secret while the Secret remains the top regular rarity. Nova Rare sits outside both groups. Each one has its own mark printed on the card, so you can place any Cyberpunk card without knowing the checklist.
| Mark | Rarity | What it means |
|---|---|---|
Common | Common | Standard card, the largest share of any set |
Uncommon | Uncommon | Standard card, a step up in scarcity |
Rare | Rare | Foil, and the first tier with alternate arts |
Epic | Epic | Foil, and also has alternate arts |
Secret | Secret | Foil, the top regular rarity, every one with an alternate art |
| Iconic Other, Legend, Secret | Alternate artwork for a card already on the checklist | |
Nova Rare | Nova Rare | Promotional card, given out rather than pulled from a pack |
Values are where the shape of the ladder becomes obvious: the gap between the regular tiers and the alternate arts is far wider than the gaps within either group. The table below is built from current values for the Beta printing, which is the run with a trading history behind it, and it refreshes daily rather than being written in.
| Rarity | Typical value |
|---|---|
| $826.39 ($674.99 to $973.23) | |
| $81.79 ($62.08 to $245.28) | |
| $19.57 ($13.90 to $41.32) | |
Secret | $15.75 ($13.22 to $27.63) |
Epic | $2.50 ($0.97 to $8.84) |
Rare | $0.29 ($0.16 to $0.48) |
Uncommon | $0.12 ($0.10 to $0.18) |
Common | $0.11 ($0.09 to $0.14) |
Median of the priced cards in each rarity, with the typical range in brackets, built from the 172 of 172 cards in this set that currently carry a value. Estimates are blended from real market activity, not appraisals, and a rarity with only a few priced cards is a thinner signal than one with many.
Open the Cyberpunk TCG market pageIn a lot of card games foil is the second version of a card you already have, which quietly doubles the checklist. Cyberpunk splits those two ideas apart. Foil is attached to the rarity rather than sold as a parallel: Commons and Uncommons are standard cards, everything from Rare upward is foil, and there is no foil version of a Common to hunt for. The second layer is the artwork instead. Every Iconic card is another version of a card already on the checklist, so a base set and a set with its alternate arts are two different goals, and each Iconic is catalogued as its own numbered card rather than as a box you tick on an existing one. That means holding both shows as both.
Iconic cards are alternate artwork for cards that already exist at their own rarity, and the catalogue splits them into Iconic Other, Iconic Legend and Iconic Secret. They are drawn from the upper half of the checklist: every Secret has an Iconic version, and Rares and Epics have them too, while Commons and Uncommons do not. All of them are foil, all of them sit above Secret on the value table, and Iconic Secret is the shortest tier in the set. They are the cards the top of the market is built on, and worth knowing by sight if you are opening or buying Beta product.
Nova Rare does not appear on the main checklist at all, and it is not a step above Secret either. It is how promotional cards are marked: the ones handed out rather than pulled from a pack. In the catalogue today that covers the six Box Toppers, the Set 1 Promos and a pre-release card, which is the same spread of event prizing, box toppers and giveaways that promo rarities cover in other games. So a Nova Rare tells you how a card was distributed rather than where it sits on the ladder. Read the Box Toppers guide.
Welcome to Night City is catalogued twice, as a Kickstarter Beta run and a retail run, and the two checklists are at different stages. The retail set currently carries the Common through Secret tiers, and the Iconic cards are catalogued on the Beta side. The retail printing reaches hobby stores on November 6, 2026, and the checklist keeps filling in as cards are confirmed, so the shape above is a snapshot of what we can evidence rather than a final word on what the retail release will contain.
Once you know the ladder, the useful move is to stop counting cards and start counting tiers. A collection on HoloHoard shows set completion against the full catalogue, so you can see the Commons filling in while the Epics and Iconics stay open, and a want list turns the gaps into something you can actually shop from. The whole Cyberpunk catalogue is already built, both printings included, so nothing needs entering by hand. Browse every Cyberpunk TCG set.
The cards themselves run Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Secret, and Secret is the top of that ladder. Iconic Other, Iconic Legend and Iconic Secret sit above them on value, but they are alternate artwork for cards already on the checklist rather than a sixth rarity. Nova Rare is separate again: it marks promotional cards such as the Box Toppers and the Set 1 Promos.
Iconic Secret is the shortest tier in Welcome to Night City and sits at the top of the value table, followed by Iconic Legend and Iconic Other. All three are alternate artwork for cards that also exist at their own rarity, and all three are foil. Among the regular cards, Secret is the scarcest.
No. Foil tracks the rarity rather than being sold as a parallel: Commons and Uncommons are standard cards, and everything from Rare upward is foil, so there is no foil Common to hunt down. The second version of a card comes from the Iconic cards instead, which are alternate artwork for cards in the Rare, Epic and Secret tiers.
Nova Rare marks promotional cards, the ones given out rather than pulled from a pack. In the catalogue today it covers the six Box Toppers, the Set 1 Promos and a pre-release card. It sits outside the Common to Secret ladder, so it describes how a card was distributed rather than how scarce it is within a set.
The value table on this page shows the median for each rarity along with the typical range, generated from current data and refreshed daily. Each row also shows how many of that rarity's cards currently carry a value, so you can see how much evidence sits behind the number.
