New seriesSeptember 18, 2026
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- became a Union Arena series on September 18, 2026, arriving with a booster pack and a starter deck on the same day, a week after its release event cards had already been handed out at stores. Because a Union Arena deck has to be built from a single series, a new series is a bigger moment here than a new set usually is: it is a whole new deck to build, a whole new run to collect, and nothing you already own feeds into it.

Bandai lists the booster as 100 card types, split 35 Common, 35 Uncommon, 18 Rare and 12 Super Rare, plus 6 Action Point card types on top. Packs hold 12 cards, a display holds 16 packs and a case holds 16 displays, at 4.99 USD a pack. The number worth reading carefully is that 100: alt art cards are in the product as well and they are not counted in it, so the checklist you are actually filling is longer than the announced lineup. Every alt art is its own card with its own place in your collection rather than a finish on a card you already ticked off. See the full UE24BT card list.
The set carries foil stamped autograph cards from the TV anime's voice actors: Rie Takahashi as Emilia, Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki, Inori Minase as Rem, Rie Murakawa as Ram, Satomi Arai as Beatrice and Maaya Sakamoto as Echidna. They are ordinary cards from the set, signed, so each one lands against a card number you can already see on the checklist. Every one of the six also exists as an alt art, which is the version most people are actually chasing, signed or not. Alongside them sit newly drawn illustrations of Emilia and Rem in original wedding dress designs, drawn for Union Arena and available nowhere else.
Every display comes with one of nine box topper designs, six foil and three gold foil, so a sealed box has a guaranteed extra in it. Each topper is catalogued as its own card rather than folded into the card it shares art with, so it sits on the checklist waiting to be ticked instead of hiding behind a version you already own. The three gold foil designs are the scarce end of that nine, and they land on Rem, Emilia and Ram, which is to say on the three characters most likely to be why you opened the box. Rarer again are the serial numbered, hand signed Action Point cards: Bandai says a limited number are included in booster packs at what it calls an extremely low pull rate. Those are the publisher's words and no odds are published for any of it, so treat the topper as the thing you can count on and the signed AP cards as the long shot.
The starter deck holds a ready to play 50 card deck, the three Action Point cards a deck runs, a play sheet and a promo pack of starter deck rare cards. Since the 50 cards have to share one series anyway, that is a finished Re:ZERO deck out of the box, which makes it the cheapest way into the series and a sensible base to upgrade from the booster. See what is in the starter deck.
Before any of it reached shelves, Bandai ran the Re:ZERO release events from September 10 to 17, and the cards handed out there are their own small set rather than reprints of the booster. That is the usual shape in Union Arena: nearly every booster has a release event set beside it, they are short, and they are the part of a series people notice missing from a collection months later when they are harder to find. See the release event cards.
Every card from the booster, the starter deck and the release event set is in the HoloHoard catalogue, shelved under Re:ZERO alongside everything else that series gets from here on. Mark off what you pull, print the set checklist or take it as a spreadsheet, and watch the series fill in from here. Attack on Titan Vol. 2 landed the same day if you collect that one too.
