Bushiroad released the Palworld Official Card Game simultaneously worldwide on July 30, 2026, turning the survival crafting game into a two-player competitive card game. You deploy a team of Pals, gather resources and put up structures to hold the field, with each Pal's own traits pushing you toward a different plan. It launched with a booster set and two trial decks on the same day, so there was a way in from the start.
The first booster pack carries more than 50 types of Pal card, and every card in the set uses original artwork drawn for the game rather than art pulled from the video game. Popular characters from the world appear here too, with Zoe and Lily both turning up in the set. Alongside the Pals sit the gear, events and base structures that make up the rest of a deck. Bushiroad lists the set as 100 types across Common, Uncommon, Rare and Double Rare, plus a further 61 parallel types. That second number is the interesting one. A parallel keeps the base card's number and adds a suffix, and it carries completely different artwork, so the Super Rare and Over Super Rare cards are alternate versions of cards already in the set rather than a rung above them. It means the full checklist for one booster set runs a good deal longer than the headline count. What SP, SSP and TSR mean.
Both trial decks, Red and Blue and Green and Purple, went on sale early at events around the world through June and July: Bushiroad Summer Fest in Manila, Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Sentinel Games in Singapore, Japan Expo in Paris, SMASH! in Sydney and Bushiroad Summer Fest in Manchester, with a one per customer limit on each deck.
