New setSeptember 14, 2026
Dawn of Palpagos is where the Palworld Official Card Game starts: a booster set plus two trial decks, one in Red and Blue and one in Green and Purple. The decks are not just a way in. They print cards on a rarity ladder of their own, which means some of the wave has never been inside a booster pack. All three sets are catalogued on HoloHoard, so you can see the whole wave in one place.

Dawn of Palpagos runs the standard ladder from Common up through Double Rare, Super Rare and Over Super Rare, then the parallels on top. The parallels are the part worth understanding: a card ending SP or SSP is a separate card with its own number and its own art, not a finish applied to one you already have. Structures sit in here too, and they are the only cards printed sideways. See the full Dawn of Palpagos card list.
Bushiroad lists the booster as 100 types across Common, Uncommon, Rare and Double Rare, with a further 61 parallel types on top. The parallels keep the base card's number and add a suffix, so those 61 are alternate art versions of cards already in the set rather than extra cards bolted on the end. The trial decks are sold as complete products: 60 cards each, being a 50 card main deck and a 10 card soul deck, plus a paper playmat and play guide, a life counter, a material and ingredient counter, and a sealed booster pack of Dawn of Palpagos. Each deck also swaps one main deck card for a parallel rarity version, either a TSR or a TSP.
| Product | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Booster: Dawn of Palpagos | 100 base types plus 61 parallel types, all newly illustrated |
| Trial Deck: Red & Blue | 60 cards, a playmat, counters and a booster pack, with one parallel swapped in |
| Trial Deck: Green & Purple | 60 cards, a playmat, counters and a booster pack, with one parallel swapped in |
Each deck leads with a starter Pal: Lamball in the Red and Blue deck, Cattiva in the Green and Purple one, each with a Trial Deck Super Deck Rare version of itself. TD, TSR and TSP are a ladder that exists only in the decks, so those cards come from one place and one place only. If you are chasing a complete first wave rather than a complete booster set, the decks are not optional.
| Deck | Colours | Starter Pal |
|---|---|---|
| Dawn of Palpagos Red & Blue | Red and Blue | Lamball: My First Pal |
| Dawn of Palpagos Green & Purple | Green and Purple | Cattiva: My First Pal |

Soul cards are the resource deck, and they are numbered separately from everything else, running across the booster, the trial decks and the promos rather than sitting inside one set. One of them is treated as a chase in its own right. It is a small thing, but it is the kind of detail that makes a checklist look wrong when it is actually right.
HoloHoard groups the booster and both decks under the same wave, so you can work through Dawn of Palpagos as one goal or set by set. Mark what you own, put the parallels you still want on a list, and the gaps stay visible as Legends Awaken and Eternal Ascent arrive. Every set also has a checklist page you can tick off, print to paper or PDF, or export as an XLS or CSV spreadsheet, built from the live catalogue rather than typed up by hand.
