The Tekken 8 booster set for UniVersus releases today, August 14, 2026. UVS Games, in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment, brings one of the most iconic fighting game rosters to the UniVersus system, with new mechanics, a serialized chase, and a set designed to feel fast, explosive, and true to the source material. The Tekken 8 Booster Set features 14 Character Cards representing fighters from the Tekken 8 roster, 185 base cards, and 25 alt-art Ultra Rares and Secret Rares. It also introduces the all-new Heat mechanic, bringing momentum-driven gameplay swings, and Arena Cards, a brand-new card type debuting in UniVersus. The set is built on the UniVersus game system, which has 20 years of history rooted in fighting games. See the full Tekken 8 card list.
Serialized Chrome Rares return as the marquee chase of the set. This release introduces two distinct Chrome treatments, each with its own visual identity, and UVS Games says additional details will be revealed in the near future. If you pull one, HoloHoard lets you record the exact serial number on your copy, so your collection reflects the card you actually hold.

Prerelease events ran at local game stores starting August 7, 2026, one week ahead of today's full release. Earlier this summer, UniVersus was live at the Evolution Championship Series in Las Vegas on June 26 to 28, where attendees could pick up exclusive EVO-stamped promo cards available only at the event. Boosters and accessories are available through local game stores now.
