New gameOctober 27, 2026
The Naruto Card Game is now on HoloHoard for digital tracking. Bandai confirmed at New York Comic Con that its new trading card game on Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto launches worldwide in June 2027, with three Starter Decks and a first booster, and the cards that already exist are here today: the CP-001 Chakra Card, handed out at tutorial sessions and partner events through 2026, in three versions. All three are catalogued, each as its own card. Every promo that surfaces between now and launch will be added to our card list, and the Starter Decks and Booster Pack 01 get their set pages the day they are listed.

Bandai first put the game in players' hands at Gen Con 2026, from July 30 to August 2, with free tutorial sessions on demo decks that stayed at the venue. The tour then ran through New York Comic Con, PAX Aus, Spiel Essen, Paris Games Week and Lucca, and on October 13, 2026 the publisher's New York Comic Con report set the plan: a simultaneous worldwide release in June 2027. Three pre-constructed Starter Decks, each built around a different Leader, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara, launch alongside Booster Pack 01, Enter: NARUTO UZUMAKI!, with characters from NARUTO and NARUTO: SHIPPUDEN. Before that, Premier Demo Events run in stores from February 5 to March 5, 2027, with an event-only playmat and a Premium Card Collection vol.00 Chakra set on sale at them, and a global campaign hands out one million demo decks from spring 2027. The next reveal is Jump Festa in December 2026. Open the Naruto Card Game page.
Bandai's how-to-play page describes five card types. The Leader is the card your deck is built around; Characters are chosen in your Leader's colour and form your front line in battle, some of them able to unleash Ninjutsu by paying a Chakra cost; EX Characters are stronger Characters that can only be played once their conditions are met; Chakra cards are the energy that activates face-down Support cards like Ninjutsu, and a Chakra card is turned face down when it is used; the Summon card is what you rest to bring a Character onto the battlefield. You win by reducing your opponent's Leader's Life to zero. The sample cards show the layout: DMG top left, POW and HP top right, a colour frame, and a trait line under the name such as Jinchuriki, Hidden Leaf Village or Akatsuki Organization. The full rulebook is not published yet, so that is as far as HoloHoard's card pages go for now. See the card types on HoloHoard.
Every card that exists so far is the same card, CP-001, the Chakra Card: Naruto and Sasuke over a white spiral, and a different mark for each occasion it was given out. The Gen Con 2026 version went to players who registered for the NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL on the BANDAI TCG+ app and completed the survey after a tutorial session. The New York Yankees version was given out at the NARUTO x YANKEES GAME NIGHT at Yankee Stadium on September 8, 2026, with the Yankees logo on the card. The NYCC 2026 version came the same way as Gen Con's, with a session ticket from the booth each morning of the show. HoloHoard lists each version as its own card in the Promotion Cards set, so a Gen Con copy and a Yankees copy are tracked apart rather than as one card ticked twice. Bandai has published no quantities for any of them. Open the Promotion Cards set.
The game page is organised the way the product line will be: a Promos and Other section today, with Starter Decks and Booster Packs added the day the June 2027 products are listed, each set with its own page, card list and printable checklist. We will keep adding new promos and cards as the tour and pre-release events go on. If you picked up a Chakra Card on the convention trail, it has a home now. See the three Chakra Cards.
If you are lucky enough to have one of the first promo cards, create a collection for your Naruto cards and add as many as you own. Do not forget to post them as pulls for the community, photographed front and back, so other collectors can see which versions have surfaced. If you are just getting started, you can open a want list for the versions you are after and a trade list for a spare. The HoloHoard app is free to download. Start tracking the Naruto Card Game.
