Welcome to Night City, the first set of the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, reaches hobby stores on November 6, 2026. WeirdCo built it in collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED, and it arrives off the back of the most-funded trading card game campaign in Kickstarter history: $28,353,088 pledged by 50,773 backers, with the initial goal cleared in five minutes. Backer product is shipping now. The full card list is already in the HoloHoard catalogue, in both its Beta and retail printings, so you can track what you pull from the first pack.
It is the game's first set, and it is where the whole card pool starts. You build a crew around three Legends, play Units into the field, equip them with Gear and fire Programs at the right moment, all to take and hold Gigs off your Rival. Cards run across four colours and four types, and the roster reaches across the Cyberpunk franchise with art made for the game rather than pulled from the source material. This is the part worth getting right before November. Product from the Kickstarter campaign carries a Beta symbol, and product sold at retail after the campaign does not. Same card list, two printings, and for anyone who backed the campaign and then buys at retail, two things to track. HoloHoard catalogues them as separate sets with their own numbering, so marking a retail copy leaves the Beta copy open on your list and set completion reads honestly on both.
Packs run Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic, with four Secret cards at the top of the set: Johnny Silverhand: Rocking Renegade, Panam Palmer: Strength Through Family, Sasha Yakovleva: Won't Let You Down and Judy Álvarez: Nothing to Doubt. Iconic Rare alternate arts have been announced as the headline booster chase, with the first batch of Beta variants revealed at Gen Con alongside The Relic: Experimental Biochip and Johnny Silverhand: Rocking Renegade, and reveals have continued through August. Separate from all of it are the Nova Rares, which never come out of a pack.
The Nova Rares arrive by other routes entirely. Six are box topper Legends, one per booster display, catalogued in both Beta and retail printings. Two are promo cards, Rebecca: Having a Moment and Adam Smasher: Ender of Legends. A Nova Rare Mantis Blades came out of pre-release product. They are the reason a complete first set is not just a booster box problem, and each one is its own catalogue entry so it can sit on a want list like anything else.
Embracing Power and The Heist both release alongside the set on November 6, 2026. Each is a ready-to-play 40 card deck with six dice, and each prints cards exclusive to that product, which makes them checklist entries rather than an optional on-ramp. Embracing Power runs the Arasaka Corporation behind Saburo Arasaka, Yorinobu Arasaka and Goro Takemura; The Heist takes the other side with V, Jackie Welles and Viktor Vektor.
Ahead of retail, WeirdCo published its supply position, and it is unusually specific for a launch. It plans to reprint individual cards rather than packs, using promos, supplementary products and organised play prizing to keep accessible cards accessible without adding copies of the chases. Print runs are set from demand data, through exclusive regional distributors, and the company says it will not reprint the same set or configuration again. It has also ruled out running another Kickstarter for the game. For a collector deciding how hard to chase set one, that is useful to know now rather than in a year.
