Mysterious Fossil was printed for EX Legend Maker, part of Pokémon TCG, the official Pokémon Trading Card Game from The Pokémon Company International, in which Trainers battle with their Pokémon and take a Prize for every Knock Out. Ryo Ueda handled the artwork. This is a Trainer, which makes it support played from your hand: an Item used freely, a Supporter limited to one a turn, a Stadium that stays in play, or a Tool attached to one of your Pokémon. The card is numbered 79/92. It was printed in 2 different variants.

Play Mysterious Fossil as if it were a Basic Pokemon. While in play, Mysterious Fossil counts as a Pokemon (as well as a Trainer card). Mysterious Fossil has no attacks, can't retreat, and can't be Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, or Poisoned. If Mysterious Fossil is Knocked Out, it doesn't count as a Knocked Out Pokemon. (Discard it anyway.) At any time during your turn before your attack, you may discard Mysterious Fossil from play.
