The TI-80 graphing calculator by Texas Instruments, introduced in 1995, was designed for educational purposes to assist middle-school students with their math and science calculations. Able to graph up to four functions at once, the calculator included four zones of keys: Graphing, Editing, Advanced Functions, and Scientific Calculator.
