The Inverted Jenny is a famous error from 1918 in which the image of the Curtiss JN-4 biplane on the 24-cent, United States postage stamp designed to commemorate the US Postal Service's first airmail delivery service was printed upside down. Highly prized among philatelists, an Inverted Jenny stamp sold at Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries in November 2023 for a record hammer price of $1.7 million.
