A terracotta pot, a rolled copper sheet, and a copper rod. It has been theorized that these items may have been used together to generate a mild electrical charge, possibly used in antiquity for electroplating or even electrotherapy. The artifact was discovered in what is modern-day Iraq, leading to the nickname of the Baghdad Battery."
