The Pokemon Illustrator card (or as it is sometimes known, the Pikachu Illustrator) was given out to the winners of a series of contests put on by the Japanese comic magazine CoroCoro in the late 1990s. The card is extremely rare with less than 40 copies said to have been handed out to the winners of the contest. Today only 1 copy is known to exist in PSA Perfect 10 Mint Condition.
